Swami Vivekananda statue was established in the campus of SRI INDU ENG COLLEGE by the management to make inspire the students and faculty. after 6, 7 years of establishing of this statue. first time students listened eagerly the story of vivekananda on 1st August, 2013. the famous quotation was written below of this statue,it is usefull to students.
Sri indu eng college final year students organised the meeting of swami vivekananda 150th birth anniversary on 1st August,2013. students with principal sri Mallesham.
About 700 students were participated in sri indu eng institution on 1st August, 2013 for the occasion of swami vivekananda 150th birth anniversary.

Youth Meets to Support Swadeshi
Ramachandrapuram: Youth in S.S.S colony Students gathered to support Swadeshi ideology. thery discussed about industry, agriculture and government policies. pamphlets distributed amongst youth. On the occasion of Ganesh festival in September they decided to propagate Swadeshi Ideology amongst the colony people.

Awareness Amongst Retailers

Against the decision of government on FDI in Retail Trade Swadeshi Workers propagated awareness in Traders section in Vivekananda Nagar, Dilsukhnagar. Pamphlets and literature about Impact of FDI's were distributed to all shop keepers and retailers responded positively and they condemned the Imperialistic activities of wall mart.

Seminar on Strengths of Our Country

Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebrations

Swadeshi Members conducted awareness sessions on Kargil War and our war victory in 5 schools.
Panchasheela English Medium High School, Panchasheela Telugu Medium School, ZPHS Boys School, ZPHS Girls High School, Sri Sai Vidyanikethan-Moosapet..
On this Occasion volunteers distributed Kargil Vijay Diwas, Swadeshi Vidheshi Commodities list and China Aggression pamphlets to all students around 1200.

Meeting of Karnataka South SJM
The Pranth Baitak of Karnataka South SJM was held on 24-6-2012 at Yadava Smrithi, Bangalore. The baitak was guided by Sri B.M.Kumaraswamy and Sri Appala Prasad. The baitak was attended by 35 karyakarthas.
The first session started with Sri Kumaraswamy addressing the gathering. He highlighted the reasons for devaluing of the Indian Rupee, the main reasons being the Euro crisis and wrong policies of the Government. He urged that SJM should actively protest the wrong policies and should advice the Government in making right policies. He also said about the consequences of 20 years of globalisation and that India should not bother much to follow the WTO agreement as it is a closed chapter.
The speech was followed by reporting and analysing the activities of the previous year. Summary of the report is as follows.
- Traders’ meet to highlight the consequences of FDI was held at around 22 centres with a participation of more than 3500 traders.
- Protests were carried out against FDI at the above centres which were highlighted by huge processions and closure of local markets.
- Around 3000 books on FDI were sold and around 1 lakh paper bills were circulated.
- Many Ayurveda camps were conducted at different districts. Around 500 people participated in these camps.
- A special Ayurveda camp of three days was held in Bangalore which highlighted on simple techniques for a healthy living. The camp was attended by around 100 people from the elite society. The camp included oil bath, mud bath, introduction of medicinal plants, stress busting techniques….
- An essay competition was held for college students in Mysore on FDI which was attended by students of 14 colleges. Prizes were given away for best essays.
- Study circle conducted in Bangalore every month on various topics attended by an average 30 people.
- A one day seminar was held in Tumkur University. Sri Gurumurthy, Prof Kumaraswamy and Sri M R Venkatesh were the main speakers. Around 275 lecturers, students and members of Chamber of Commerce Tumkur Attended.
- A delegation from SJM was called by the Chief Minister of Karnataka to give suggestions on the budget.
- Bowing to the protests by SJM, the Government was forced to take back the amendments in the APMC Act. The amendments were aimed to favour the MNC’s.
- Another achievement of SJM is the scrapping of the 2nd phase of Mangalore SEZ by the Government.
- Activities were carried out in almost all the districts of South Karnataka in the previous year.
The next session was devoted to the planning of the activities for the current year.

It was also decided in the baitak that study circles will be conducted every month in Bangalore south on 2nd Thursday, Tumkur on 2nd Tuesday, Mandya on 3rd Tuesday and Mysore every 4th Friday.
A one day Vichara varg is planned in Bangalore on Sept 16th, Tumkur in July, Mysore in July and Mandya in September.
After the baitak, the karyakarini met and it was decided that each member should devote more time in adjoining zillas. Likewise Sri Pradip was entrusted with Hassan district, Sri Vijayakrishna with Ulsoor and Malleshwaram Bhag of Bangalore, Sri Srinivas with Chickballapur, Sri Ravish with Vijayanagar and Shankarapuram of Bangalore and Sri Govindrao with Tumkur city.
The following responsibilities were announced in the baitak.

School Kit Drive Distribution at Dubbaka (Medak dist)
On the occasion of school kits distribution program on 30-06-2012, at Dubbaka (Medak dist) at 2.00pm at Vishya Bhavan,300 poor students from different government and private high schools were taken the bags with immense joy. Vibhag Convener Sri. Vennela Malla Reddy presided the function and thanked "Youth for Seva" Organisations for showing sympathy on interior village students. D.Venkat (Project Co-ordinator Sewa International) addressed the students and told them to show respect to elders. MRO(Siddipet) Sri. Giri and MEO (Dubbaka) Sri. Das addressed the students to improve personality by taking inspiration for our National Leaders. Youth for Seva organisers Sesha Adithya and Arshad told students to utilise the bags and notes properly. The students also given speeches in this function. By this program they told that they inspired lot and would like to serve the parents and mother. Appala Prasad, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch Organiser explained the life history of Swamy Vivekananda and Glory of our mother land, everyone should put efforts to improve their body, Mind, Intelligence and Soul. He sung Vadematharam song in Telugu translation and song of Cow and song of Vivekananda.
Sridhar, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch Dubbaka Convener organised the Stage program, Ramesh (Co-convener), Naresh (Co-Convener) Umashankar teacher, Sainadh Reddy (Organiser), Dist Co-convener Raju, Gajula Bhaskar were participated and have given Co-operation to success this programme.
Free School Kits Distribution to Poor Students (30-06-2012)
Swadeshi Jagaran Manch Collected List of 300 Poor Students from 18 High Schools in Dubbaka and surrounding villages and organizing a program. On the occassion Youth For Seva (YFS) Collected the funds for School Kits to distribute to poor students.
This Program will be Held on 30th June at 2pm @ Vysya Bhavan-Dubbaka.
Free Medical Camp at Dubbaka (30-06-2012)
Swadeshi Jagaran Manch is going to organizing second free medical camp at Dubbaka(Medak dist) on 30-06-2012 at 9am at Varthaka Sangham-Dubbaka.
Last year the same camp was held successfully. Mediciti Hospital is giving full cooperation. They are providing doctors, medicines. Swadeshi Jagaran Manch Dubbaka unit collected 10,000/- rupees worth medicines to distribute to poor patients. Mediciti AGM(Marketing) Sri Thammineni Venkata Naidu,

Kutumba Sammelanam(2012) at Karimanagar
In every year at karimanagar kutumba sammelanam will conduct by swadeshi jagaran manch. In this year on march 4th, Family get together,the name was given as CHEMMAKE LEELA HOLY(COLOR FESTIVAL), was held at GIDDE PERUMALLU TEMPLE,which is head by sri komaraiah,correspondent of Vivekananda school. About 163 families and 120 students of DIET were attended.The program was started at 4.30pm with traditional games,ladies and gents and children participated in games,poems’competitions were also conducted. Sri Nandi srinivas ,teacher and co-convenor of karimanagar dist, Sri ch.Madhavarao,city convenor,sri Prabhakar,city co- convenor and sri Vithal Sharma,teacher and convenor of cultural cell , organized the games. At 6.30pm the meeting was started and spiritual leader and great orater of telugu literature sri Garikapati Narsimaha Rao was fecilitated by karimnagar swadeshi unit,Sri CA M Harish babu,dist convenor, Sri T.Ramesh reddy,dist co convenor,sri K.Laxma reddy, teacher, vibhag convenor were shared the stage.Sri Kishanji, rss sanghachalk also participated. Sri Appala Prasad, organizer of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka swadeshi jagaran manch, had spoken the values of Indian family system, by saving the money the Indian families are protecting our Indian economy, because of our strong relations in family system and nationalism, our old country never die in the world, he said. The main speaker of the function Sri Garikapati Narsimha Rao had spoken that he usually read the literature of Swami Vivekanda and got inspiration and tour the entire the world to promote the greatness of swadeshi movement. Our country’s main motto is DHARMA,ARTHA,KAMA AND MOKSHA, so our ancestors told from boyhood, even in our schools, we were taught that A for AMMA , sign of DHARMA, Aa for Aavu(cow),the sign of ARTHA(getting sampada,money by doing agriculture),I for illu (house), sign of KAMA(by residing getting all desires) and last one is ii for iiswara (GOD who gives renuntiation ) , sign of MOKSHA. Sri Garikapati suggested the gathering that use Indian products, protect family values, respect our ancestors and should not imitate blindly from westerners.His one hour speech was so interesting. After the meeting the dinner was provided and gift were distributed for winners of competitions. Orgnizers and audience were so satisfied with total program.Sri Abhaya Narayana, convenor of Retail traders cell, collected the sponcership for the gifts.
